Take a road trip across northern Shawnee County as you ride the 2019 Capitol Classic! Experience the slopes of glacial carved terrain from crested viewpoints and luscious valleys on an all new paved road course.

Three separate loops at gradual levels of difficulty await both beginner and experienced riders. The 1st two loops approximate 20 miles each whereas the final circuit extends to 28 miles. This ride is a must-do trainer for the Cottonwood 200! This year’s Capitol Classic course meanders through the woodlands and pastures just north of the Kansas capital city. The ride offers up to 3 routes of gradually challenging 20, 40, or 68 miles.

Bring your camera along as you will encounter numerous picturesque views and appealing scenery throughout the journey. Come solo or bring a biking partner along. You will make some new acquaintances with friendly club members eager to turn you on to the many varied daily ride options that KVBC has to offer.

Helmets are required on all KVBC-sponsored rides.
