All weekly rides are show-and-go. Most operate only when DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME is in effect. The number of people at each ride can and does vary greatly. All rides are at-your-own risk as to weather, and if there is enough sunlight to finish the ride (so bring your bike lights because they might be necessary). Helmets are required. Emailing the ride leader to confirm details is always a good idea.
KVBC MONDAY MORNING RIDE

How: The average speed on this ride will be between 15 and 16 mph, and the distance generally around 30 miles. The start time and departure point will vary from week to week. The ride will probably have a designated regroup spot around halfway in an effort to keep the group together. This ride is intended for experienced riders who are looking for a group recovery ride after riding longer harder miles on the weekend. Only self-propelled bikes on this ride without battery assist, and of course helmets are required.

How: Ready to learn how to ride faster, how to draft in a group and how to compete in longer (60, 75, 100 mile) rides? Then join us at 6:10 pm from the 37th & Wanamaker Walgreens for the Tuesday Training Rides. There will be two groups for this ride: a faster-paced group (16+ mph average) and a moderate-paced group (12-15 mph). Ride distance will start at 18-20 miles and lengthen as daylight increases.
Pace: 16+ mph average for the fast group; 12-15 mph for the moderate group.
SO MO (SOCIAL MODERATE)
